Hello everyone,
This release brings scheduling to Avicenna. With Appointments, you can now offer bookable sessions to your participants. We’ve also expanded Achievements with new customization options. Alongside these updates, we’ve shipped a couple of bug fixes covering Consent Material link validation and name placeholders in information questions.
New Features
Appointments
We added Appointments, allowing you to offer bookable sessions to your participants. You can create appointment types with defined durations and researcher pools, configure weekly or date-specific availability with blackout periods, and share booking links for participants to reserve slots. For more details, see our Reference.
Improvements
Achievements Customization
We expanded Achievements with new customization options for your study. You can now configure primary, secondary, and background theme colors, select milestone icons, enable achievement sounds, and upload separate mobile and desktop header images for each tier. For more details, see our Reference.
Bug Fixes
Consent Material Link Validation
We addressed an issue where Consent Material links could be added without the required https:// or http:// prefix. Researchers are now required to provide a complete URL when adding links. This ensures links are validated correctly and presented accurately to participants.
Information Question Name Placeholder
We fixed an issue where participant name placeholders in information questions were not being replaced when creating a researcher-responded session from a survey. The placeholders for full name, first name, and last name are now correctly displayed based on the participant’s information.
Thank you for your continued feedback and support, which helps us make Avicenna Research better with each release. We hope you find these updates useful. As always, we welcome your feedback and encourage you to reach out with any comments or questions on our Community Forum or contact us directly via Email. Stay tuned for more updates coming your way!
