Hello everyone,
This new release is all about better data. We’ve added support for new Apple HealthKit vital signs and improved the visibility of your data sources. Let’s take a look.
Improvements
New Apple HealthKit Vital Signs
We added support for two new Apple HealthKit vital sign types: Body Temperature and Heart Rate Recovery (one minute) to improve data accuracy and completeness.
Data Sources Visibility
Data sources added by the Avicenna support team to a study (e.g., BACtrack Skyn, SwitchBot) were previously hidden on the researcher dashboard. They now appear in the dashboard and can be fully managed by researchers, including exporting, editing, and deleting.
Bug Fixes
Hiding Score in Stroop
We fixed an issue on the participant apps where the Stroop cognitive task incorrectly displayed the score even when the Show Score setting was disabled.
Zero Practice Rounds in Stroop
We resolved an issue on the participant apps where participants would see three practice rounds if the number of practice rounds was set to 0.
YouTube Video Playback Error
We addressed an issue on participant Android and iOS apps where YouTube videos failed to load and showed the message “Video is not available. Error code 15”.
Thank you for your continued feedback and support which helps us make Avicenna Research better with each release. We hope you find these updates useful. As always, we welcome your feedback and encourage you to reach out with any comments or questions on our Community Forum or contact us directly via Email. Stay tuned for more updates coming your way!
