Weekly Release Notes - 2026-08-11

Hello everyone,

This release brings a set of fixes to researcher-responded sessions, covering how answers are saved, how answer options behave, and how questions are displayed. We also corrected the participation end time applied to anonymous participants. Details for each fix are below.

Researcher-Responded Session Conditional Question Responses

We fixed an issue where answers to conditionally displayed questions in researcher-responded sessions were not saved. Although researchers could see and complete these follow-up questions, the responses were stored as unanswered with the reason listed as disabled, and the fields appeared empty when the session was reopened. These answers are now recorded and kept correctly.

Exclusive Answer Options in Researcher-Responded Sessions

We resolved an issue with exclusive answer options in multiple-answer questions during researcher-responded sessions. When an option marked as exclusive was selected, the researcher could still choose other options alongside it, allowing contradictory answers to be recorded. Selecting an exclusive option now prevents any other option from being chosen.

Truncated Statements in Matrix Questions

We addressed an issue in researcher-responded sessions where long statements in Matrix questions were shortened with an ellipsis. Statements are now shown in full, so researchers can read the complete wording.

Participation End Time for Anonymous Participants

We fixed an issue where anonymous participants were assigned a participation end time based on their start time plus the study’s participation duration. After that window passed, no additional anonymous participants could open a session. The study’s participation end time now applies correctly to anonymous participants.
