This release tightens survey logic. We fixed two issues in how criteria in surveys are evaluated, so questions now appear and hide exactly as your criteria describe. Here is a closer look:
Bug Fixes
Enable Questions Consistency with Criteria
We fixed an issue in surveys where a question shown through the Enable Questions setting stayed visible after the question that enabled it was hidden by its criteria, and participants could still answer it. Enable Questions now follows criteria in both directions, so the question hides and reappears along with the one that enables it.
Criteria Evaluation For Multiple-Choice Questions
We addressed an issue in the web app and survey editor Preview on the Researcher Dashboard where a question with criteria referencing a multiple-choice question never appeared, regardless of the selected option. The question was recorded as skipped due to criteria. Criteria now evaluate consistently with Android and iOS apps.
