Hello everyone,
Our QA team regularly tests the Avicenna app across all platforms to ensure everything works as expected, and we immediately resolve any issues that arise. Below are the details of the bugs that were identified and fixed in this release:
Bug Fixes
Survey Still Accessible After Expiration on Android
We fixed an issue where participants could still answer and submit surveys on Android after the expiration time. Now, like before, participants see an âexpirationâ message and cannot submit responses once the session expires.
Media Capture Buttons Reset Eligibility Survey
We addressed an issue in the Eligibility Survey where the âTake a Photo,â âRecord a Video,â and âChoose an Audio Fileâ buttons triggered errors and reset the survey to the first question.
Media Display and Playback Issues
We resolved issues where images uploaded by Android users did not display on the Activity Responses page, and uploaded audio files were not playable.
Duplicate âLockedâ Records in Screen State Data
We addressed an issue where duplicate âLockedâ records appeared in the screen state data.
âAlways Allowâ GPS Permission Prompt Issue
We fixed an issue on iOS where the âAlways Allowâ GPS permission prompt did not appear. Now, after granting âWhile Usingâ access during GPS onboarding, the app correctly shows the prompt for âAlwaysâ access.
Time Triggering Logic Option Disabled for Time Use Activity
We resolved an issue where the Time Triggering Logic option was disabled for Time Use activities.
Sorting Issue on the Data Sources Page
We fixed a sorting issue in the researcher dashboard where users were unable to sort data sources by âStatusâ and âMandatoryâ columns.
