Hello - I’ve been having similar extensive issues with notifications. Mainly on Samsung devices. However, I did encounter an issue on a google pixel as well - I did find that that I needed to clear the cache and data and re-install the app and then it worked fine. I haven’t been having any issues since on any google pixel devices. I don’t know if you tried this but worth trying out if you haven’t.

I don’t know if you are still having this issue. I ran into it again on one of my google pixel devices where the device ran out of battery partway through the study period, when I rebooted it, the notifications weren’t working. I signed out and back into the app and that seemed to reboot the notifications - it’s an easier fix then clearing the cache and data but seems to accomplish a similar outcome.
