App crash and discrepancies with preview and pilot

I am currently conducting a pilot for our study using your platform. I have encountered two recurring issues that we would appreciate your assistance with:

1. App Crash During Registration

When attempting to register the study using a test participant account, the app crashes immediately. Could you confirm whether this is a known issue or if it might be specific to our configuration?

2. Inconsistent Question Logic

During our initial pilot, we observed that certain question logic behaves differently between the preview mode and the actual participant experience. All criteria appear correctly configured, yet this discrepancy persists.

Could you please advise on possible causes or solutions for these issues? We would be grateful for any troubleshooting steps or guidance you can provide.

  1. I’m not aware of previously-reported issues similar to that. But we’ll try our best to diagnose and fix the issue, if any. Please share these details with us so we can dig deeper (note that your response will be public on this page):

    • The device type
      • If it’s iOS, please make sure you update to the latest version (1020) and see if that resolves your issue.
    • The participant ID
    • The exact steps you follow (including the study ID)
    • What happens if you close the app and re-open it?
  2. Please share the exact steps you follow with more details so we can help better. For example, what question logic exactly? Is it the Criteria fields? What values did you use? How did you test the Preview vs the app? Was it Android, iOS, or the web app? What did you expect? And what did you experience?

After you share these details with us, hopefully, we’ll get back to you by tomorrow night.
