Hello everyone,
This week we could finalize our integration with Apple’s SensorKit as a new data source. Also, we fixed two issues on our public surveys. At the same time, we’re enhancing survey robustness with automated tests. We’re also finalizing some larger features (e.g., Garmin SDK and Hexoskin integrations), which is why our January release notes are shorter.
New Features
Apple’s SensorKit
The integration of Apple’s SensorKit with Avicenna is final, bringing rich sensor data capabilities to our platform. This enhancement allows researchers to access detailed insights on device usage, environmental conditions, and user behavior through a comprehensive suite of SensorKit metrics. You can find more details on our Learn website.
Bug Fixes
Public survey submission
We addressed an issue where users were not informed of successful submissions of public surveys and were instead redirected to the Welcome page. Additionally, we ensured that actions like canceling the survey or letting it expire now display the appropriate messages.
Public survey expiration
We fixed an issue where public surveys wouldn’t expire upon reaching their designated expiry time.
Thank you for your continued feedback and support which helps us make Avicenna Research better with each release. We hope you find these updates useful. As always, we welcome your feedback and encourage you to reach out with any comments or questions on our Community Forum or contact us directly via Email. Stay tuned for more updates coming your way!
