Currently we are conducting an EMA study via Ethica. However, one of our participants told us that she is receiving the automatized notifications (IOS iPhone 11), but when she opens the notification the survey is not available for her. So, she is not able to respond to any surveys despite receiving notifications and reminders regularly.
Do you have a solution for this issue?
I’m sorry that you had a negative experience with the Ethica app.
I have a couple of questions regarding your issue:
- Did you set an expiry time for your survey from the researcher dashboard?
- Did you check your participant’s sessions and audit logs from the researcher dashboard?
The researcher’s dashboard was designed in a way that researchers could track their participant sessions and their audit logs. Please check the researcher’s dashboard first and if you couldn’t find a reason for this abnormal behavior, please send me your Study ID and your Participant ID (s/he could find the ID at the bottom of the setting page in the app).
