Progress bar shown on smartphone

Hi, I am working on programming the app and I want to show a progress bar to the participants, similar to what we see on websites during research. I know I can add a ‘My progress’ feature for the participants, but the progress bar with completion percentage is missing.

Is there any way I can program the app so that participants can see the percentage of surveys they have completed on their smartphones?

Dear @wing.yuk.tse

Thank you for getting in touch with us!

Just to clarify, participants have the ability to keep tabs on their progress in the following scenarios:

  1. The “My Progress” feature: When this is added by the researcher, it allows participants to actively monitor their progress throughout the study. More details can be found here: Participation Period - Learn Ethica

  2. During survey completion: Ethica can be set up to show participants the number of remaining questions in their current survey session. You can learn more about it here: https://learn.ethicadata.com/reference/survey#show-progress

  3. Answering a TimeUse survey: This activity offers a calendar-like interface where participants are asked to log their activities along with when, where, and who they were with. Further info is available here: https://learn.ethicadata.com/reference/cognitive-tasks/time-use

At the moment, we’re providing support for these scenarios. But, we always love to hear new ideas! If you have any suggestions, feel free to share and I’ll be sure to relay them to our product team.
