- Instead of one continuous participation period, allow multiple participation periods, each one of these is called a wave.
- When creating surveys, allow researcher to specify which wave(s) does the survey belongs to. Or extend the criteria grammar to include wave too.
- Participation end should be assumed when the last period is finished.
- Data collection should be paused between the waves.
