I am preparing to begin work on an Avicenna study which is collecting survey data. This is a large study which will require access to the raw database. I am posting to enquire about a few software related questions.
What database management system (DBMS) is used?
Are researchers able to directly query the database?
Where can I find more details on the software used for Avicenna database management?

Thank you for your interest in our serivce. Currently, we do not provide direct database access for researchers unless the service is being self-hosted, for example, on an on-premise cluster. We primarily use PostgreSQL, along with other non-relational databases like Cassandra and Elasticsearch.
