# JSON bad request

Hi !  
When I try to upload a JSON file it appears “bad request”.  
Does anyone know the possible reasons?

Hi Matias,

I assume you mean a Survey JSON (when importing it). If that’s the case, please check [this section on our Learn](https://learn.avicennaresearch.com/reference/surveys/#survey-definition-file-validation) and see if you can diagnose possible issues with your JSON file. If your JSON is valid but you still get an error, please share a screenshot from the page (including the error).
