# Extending participation after participation period has ended

Thanks for reaching out.

You can check the modified sessions based on the new triggering logic under **Activity Sessions** on your dashboard for the relevant participants and activities. If you cannot see them and the sessions have not been created, this is most likely due to the order in which the changes were applied.

This should be the order:

First change the study Participation Period.  
Then modify the participation period from the Participation tab for the mentioned participants and modify the triggering logic.  
Ask participants to sync data and reload studies from the app.  
Once these steps are done, you can check the Activity Sessions page to see whether the modified sessions appear as expected.
